Week 4, Term 2 2013

Every Friday we have our Kowhai Assembly. This is a time we get together and celebrate our week with songs, news, birthdays, welcoming new friends and presentation of certificates. Dianne was teaching us a new song this week.

This week we were practising the formation of the letter 'a' on our whiteboards. We say to ourselves "open mouth, close it up, short stick!"
We even sat them on the line!

Next week...
Our sound will be 'er' and our tricky words are all & her.
During maths we will be skip counting in tens forwards and backwards.
On Friday is our Cross Country Race. We will be running two laps of the front field. The Kowhai Syndicate usually go out to the front field after the Year 3/4's have raced, which is usually after 2pm. This is to avoid us sitting and waiting too long before our race.
Have a happy and safe week!
