Week 3, Term 2

Renwick 3 HPP Graduates!
This week 3 champions from Renwick 3 graduated from the HPP reading programme. We are all very proud of their success. 



On Wednesday we went to the Suter Art Gallery. We had a fabulous time looking at a variety of art work. We discussed the pieces of work with our parents and Esther. We did some fantastic drawing. There were some very interesting materials used in the art work. Thank you to all the parents who were able to come with us.

Week 2, Term 2

Last week we had a special treat to start our Wednesday with a rugby skills session. We filled our lungs with the fresh morning air racing around the courts throwing, catching and kicking a rugby ball!

During art this term we are drawing. On Thursday we tried an observational drawing. The key idea was to keep our eye on the object we were drawing and not on our paper. It was very tricky!

During maths we are making 10/20.
We will be starting cross country training this week. Please ensure your child is wearing appropriate shoes. The whole school event is planned for Friday June 7th. More details will follow closer to the time.
This Wednesday we have a trip to the Suter Art Gallery. We will leave school at 10.45am and return for 12.30pm. Thank you to those parents who have offered to help.

Week One, Term 2

Welcome back to Term 2! This week Kelly Sports came to school to share with us some of the activities they incorporate into their after school programme. We had so much fun running, skipping, jumping, throwing and catching.
